Powerpuff Yourself is the very first avatar creator that has ever existed on the internet.
Okay, maybe not. But I think it’s one of the best. While we pitched a ton of cool ideas to Cartoon Network for the Powerpuff Girls reboot, ultimately the client went with a tried-and-true digital product. But it was still a great experience to be able to help build something like Powerpuff Yourself from the ground-up.
While the site doesn’t have a ton of copy, I was able to work with designers and developers to concept assets and even help form the UI. It felt good to help implement features i’ve noticed lacking in other executions, and to see so many people use Powerpuff avatars all over the place.
Even Richard Simmons came out of seclusion to make one.
